Hey there awesome PR people!
It's a brand new semester and a new beginning for some of us (especially to those in part 1 and part 3). So, it is a tradition for our club/chapter to start off this new semester with our annual AGM and Alhamdulillah it went smoothly. The highlights of the meeting were the speeches given by our ex-president, Tasnim Abdul Hadi (who gave a very uplifting speech to all of us PR students) and Izad Ismail Abdullah who eloquently gave us an in-depth experience of the part 6 students who went off and did their practical training last semester (and boy was it fun to hear the opportunities that we would get when we enter that stage especially the part where we get paid :P).
Some may ask why do we have to attend this meeting every year and the answer is simple. It's not just to listen to the Dean or the club president's speech; it's more of an early get-together for all of us where we voice out our opinions/ideas or even complaints and exercise our right to vote for a new committee members. So why don't we change our perception this time around and let's make it a point to attend OUR club meeting with an open heart and have fun while we're there...
