The Education Committee of Institute of Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM) launched the IPRM Educators’ Chapter on Thursday, 21 October 2010. The event was held at Dewan Bestari, Wisma Sime Darby, Kuala Lumpur and was launched by Dato’ Mohd Hamdan Haji Adnan, IPRM President. Associate Professor Dr. Kiranjit Kaur, chair of the IPRM Education Committee said the IPRM Educators’ Chapter will encourage participation and collaboration among educators from Malaysian universities and private colleges, as well as internationally, in the areas of research and publications between educators and the industry to advance the profession and public relations knowledge. It will also work with IPRM student chapters (IPRMSA) on student public relations projects. Among those who participated in the event were public relations educators, IPRM members, representatives from IPRM Student Associations and other public relations practitioners.
